Community Welfare Trust
The community centre is based at out main site at Marlborough House in Stockton. We welcome all the people of Stockton-On-Tees and the wider Tees Valley to take part in the activities available in the community centre as the ethos behind the community centre is to bring together people together. There are a whole host of activities taking places at Marlborough House for all ages including a day centre for older people. The day centre is open to everyone over the age of 50 years and all adults over 18 years with a health need. We have massage sessions, health and well-being talks, craft tables and exercise sessions.
We are in the process of developing a homework club for secondary school children to help raise their aspirations and develop their potential. These sessions are specifically aimed at ages 11 to 14. Please contact us for more details. Separate GCSE preparation classes will commence from February 2016.
Separate exercise classes are held for men and women on Tuesdays at 11:00. Come along and join the fun.
We offer Life In the UK preparation classes and are working closely with Tees Achieve for B1 English.
We are continually developing activities that our communities tell us that they need. If we are not already delivering an activity and you would like to see it happen, please contact us.
The community centre rooms can be booked by local community groups and individuals for their own use. Please contact us for more information.
